Volleyball Recap: Garces Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Garces Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Centennial Golden Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-10, 23-25, 25-8, 25-8.

Leading Centennial to victory were Lyllah Sapp and Kathryn Wulff-Smith. Sapp had 42 assists and three digs, while Wulff-Smith had 17 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Wulff-Smith has posted over her last four contests.

Garces Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Centennial, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-8.

Garces Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Stockdale on the 14th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Eastlake on the 10th.
