Johnnie Phillips was Potter Valley's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Phillips also led the team in rebounds with nine.

South Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Potter Valley, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

South Fork took their victory against Potter Valley in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 82-61 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
