Champlin Park put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Waconia Wildcats.

Champlin Park pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Waconia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Champlin Park will venture away from home to take on Andover at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waconia, they will take on Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
