Basketball Recap: Taos Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Taos). They took down the Grants Pirates 84-67 on Thursday. The win was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Leading Taos to victory were Roberto Trujillo and Malakhai Ely. Trujillo shot 59% from the field en route to 26 points, while Ely went 7-for-11 to rack up 20 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The game was Ely's third in a row with at least 16 points. Mario Rodriguez was another key player, putting up eight points and six assists.

Taos' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Grants, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Taos didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-43 win against Valencia on the 6th. As for Grants, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 81-21 victory against Laguna Acoma on the 6th.
