Soccer Recap: Port Huron Northern Comes Up Short

Port Huron Northern lost against Anchor Bay back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies came up short against the Tars, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Port Huron Northern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Anchor Bay are ranked 125th).

This is the second loss in a row for Port Huron Northern and nudges their season record down to 4-9-2. As for Anchor Bay, they pushed their record up to 7-6-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Port Huron Northern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anchor Bay, they will challenge Chippewa Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
