Volleyball Recap: Valhalla's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Valhalla had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Kearny Komets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Leading Valhalla to victory were Luke D'Alessio and Shia Ramos. D'Alessio had 26 digs, while Ramos had ten digs. The dominant performance gave D'Alessio a new career-high in digs. Tristan Heil also deserves some recognition as he had his first dig of the season.

Valhalla's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Kearny, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Valhalla will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kearny, they will take on Monte Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
