Softball Recap: Big Pasture's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Big Pasture came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rangers have suffered since August 14th.

Presley Harrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight runs (all of which were unearned) on 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Big Pasture saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Big Pasture's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-14. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Big Pasture wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-1 victory against Ryan on the 25th. Mountain View-Gotebo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
