Soccer Game Preview: Mathews vs. Heartland Christian

On Wednesday, Mathews came up short against Lordstown and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Heartland Christian hadn't done well against Jackson-Milton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Monday. The Lions walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Bluejays. The game was the first time Heartland Christian have beaten Jackson-Milton on their pitch since September 24, 2020.

Heartland Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-7-2. As for Mathews, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12-1.
