Volleyball Game Preview: Seabreeze Sandcrabs vs. Innovation Bulls

The Seabreeze Sandcrabs will head out to square off against the Innovation Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seabreeze will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Seabreeze is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They put the hurt on Pine Ridge with a sharp 3-0 win.

Seabreeze never let Pine Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Innovation's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Oviedo, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulls have suffered since August 21st.

While Innovation ultimately came up short, they really made Oviedo work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-18, 25-23.

Seabreeze will need to focus on slowing down Aylani Correa, one of several Innovation players who made an impact when they last played. She had 14 digs and four assists. Emma Rivera was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Seabreeze, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Seabreeze might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Innovation when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Sandcrabs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
