Basketball Recap: Permian Comes Up Short

Permian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 41-32 to the Midland Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-43 on January 3rd.

Permian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Midland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Permian Panthers challenge the Frenship Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Frenship will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Permian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Midland, they will take on San Angelo Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
