Basketball Game Preview: Gunderson Grizzlies vs. Overfelt Royals

Gunderson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Eastside College Prep just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 46-21 to the Panthers. The game marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Overfelt didn't have too much trouble with James Lick on Wednesday as they won 60-46. The contest marked the Royals' most dominant victory of the season.

Overfelt's win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Gunderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything came up roses for Gunderson against Overfelt when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-34 victory. In that matchup, Gunderson amassed a halftime lead of 34-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
