Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bellaire). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Cardinals not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024.

Bellaire is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Houston Math Science & Tech and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Bellaire and Houston Math Science & Tech will both be playing Westside the next time they take the field. Bellaire will host Westside at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th, while Houston Math Science & Tech will host them at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
