Holy Cross had won four straight road games and Brian Ferguson did his part to make it five on Thursday. The Indians put the hurt on the Bellevue Tigers with a sharp 29-6 victory thanks in part to Ferguson, who rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 62 yards and one TD on perfect 5-for-5 passing. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run.

One reason for the win was Holy Cross' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Dustin Wilson, Max Hunt, and Garrett Frederick, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Bellevue, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Coming up, Holy Cross will square off against Dayton at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Bellevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
