Valley View got themselves on the board against Waynesville on Friday, but Waynesville never followed suit. They blew past Waynesville 48-0. Considering Valley View has won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Anthony Valenti was his usual excellent self, picking up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 49 yards and one score. Another signal caller making a difference was Brody Gibbs, who threw for 172 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Valley View's defense and their 4.5 sacks. In that department, Ceasar Berryman was the leader with two.

Valley View's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.9 points on average over those games. As for Waynesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
