Basketball Recap: Fox Valley Lutheran Gets the Win

Waupaca came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Fox Valley Lutheran, but Caleb Dahlke wouldn't allow it. The Foxes were the clear victors by a 74-52 margin over the Comets on Saturday with plenty of help from Dahlke, who shot 86% from the field on his way to 29 points and eight rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Eligh Erickson was another key player, putting up eight points. He has also also been stellar as far as three-point shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Fox Valley Lutheran now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Waupaca, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Fox Valley Lutheran will head out on the road to square off against Green Bay East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Foxes their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Waupaca, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Little Chute at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
