Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Vikings vs. Lake Flyers

The Evergreen Vikings will square off against the Lake Flyers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Evergreen lost 57-36 to Bryan on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Fostoria. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Flyers have suffered since December 30, 2023.

Evergreen now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Evergreen took their victory against Lake in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 53-27. Does Evergreen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
