Central piles up the points against Chicopee

Recap: Central Golden Eagles vs. Chicopee Pacers
The Central Golden Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Chicopee on the road to the tune of 78-30. With that win, Central brought their scoring average up to 53.5 points per game.
Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angela Hector, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hector scored 15 or more points. Tyler Swan was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Chicopee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Central will be home for the holidays to greet Minnechaug Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicopee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Longmeadow at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
