Recap: Cane Ridge Ravens vs. Antioch Bears
The Cane Ridge Ravens posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They had just enough and edged Antioch out 76-74. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Cane Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avyion Mccleton, who scored 20 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'ron Hall, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Cane Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Antioch, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Cane Ridge will head out on the road to square off against Hillsboro at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Hillsboro is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games. As for Antioch, they will be playing at home against Hunters Lane at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hunters Lane has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 21.
