Soccer Recap: Cottonwood Comes Up Short

Cottonwood lost against Tooele last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cottonwood Colts fell 4-2 to the Tooele Buffaloes. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parker Evans and Kabali Kangeta scored both of Cottonwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Cottonwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tooele, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Cottonwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Stansbury at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tooele, they will square off against Park City at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Tooele is facing Park City at the right time seeing as Park City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
