Volleyball Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe Beats Desert Pines for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Somerset Sky Pointe entered their tilt with Desert Pines on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2018.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Somerset Sky Pointe took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-15.

Ella Goldy paced Somerset Sky Pointe's offense, picking up 13 kills. Goldy got some help from Ashleigh Thompson and her 14 assists. Stevie-Marie Snyder controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Somerset Sky Pointe's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Desert Pines, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
