Soccer Recap: Sonoma Valley Gets the Win

Sonoma Valley saw some tournament action on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Fremont Tigers 2-1.

Martin Tristan and Chris Mendoza scored both of Sonoma Valley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Sonoma Valley now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Coincidentally, Sonoma Valley and Fremont will both be playing Salesian College Preparatory the next time they take the pitch. The Dragons will head out to face the Pride at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
