Even though they lost, Amador Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Granada struck out 11 times.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Amador Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
Amador Valley's pitching crew has a tough task ahead of them: Foothill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .489. It's a different story for Amador Valley, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Foothill's hitters?
