The Orrville Red Riders will face off against the Norton Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
On Thursday, Orrville didn't have quite enough to beat Triway and fell 3-2. The Red Riders have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Orrville sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 14-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Norton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win.

Orrville better focus on containing Haley Sanderson and Lillian Flohr as the pair were huge in Norton's win. Sanderson had 15 digs and one assist, while Flohr hit 62.5% for six kills and nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Flohr has posted over her last six matches.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Orrville has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Norton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Orrville might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Norton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Will the Red Riders have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other volleyball content.
