After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holtville, Imperial was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Central Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on October 6th.

The victory didn't come easy: Central scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

Ashlyn Tucker was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and two aces.

Tucker wasn't the only good servers: Imperial was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Imperial's record is now 21-17. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-16.

As of now, neither Imperial nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
