Basketball Recap: Tahoka Takes a Loss

Tahoka lost against New Home back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tahoka Bulldogs took a blow against the New Home Leopards, falling 92-14. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 798th, while the Leopards are ranked 123rd).

Tahoka has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for New Home, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

Tahoka will take on New Deal at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Home, they will face off against Floydada at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. New Home has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
