Football Game Preview: Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams vs. Atlantis/Westport

The Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams will venture away from home to challenge Atlantis/Westport at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Upper Cape Cod RVT is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Old Colony RVT just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 21-18.

Meanwhile, Atlantis/Westport fell victim to Cape Cod RVT and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Crusaders, falling 45-0. The game marked the first time this season in which Atlantis/Westport was not able to get on the board.

Upper Cape Cod RVT now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Atlantis/Westport, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Upper Cape Cod RVT came out on top in a nail-biter against Atlantis/Westport when the teams last played back in November of 2024, sneaking past 22-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
