Football Game Preview: Chavez Titans vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Joel Donnell and Isaiah Ene are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Chavez Titans and the Granite Bay Grizzlies will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chavez's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last nine matchups.

Chavez will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Stagg, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Titans never let the Delta Kings get on the board and left with a 42-0 victory two weeks ago. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Titans had established a 28-point advantage.

Elijah Walker produced another solid performance throwing for 266 yards and four TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. 88 of Walker's passing yards were hauled in by Makana Smith, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Chavez has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 178.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Granite Bay struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 208.1 rushing yards.
