Football Game Preview: Lancaster Bruins vs. Dreher Blue Devils

The Lancaster Bruins will head out to take on the Dreher Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lancaster has given up an average of 32.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lancaster's last matchup with A.C. Flora could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Bruins were beaten by the Falcons 56-10. The Bruins have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Dreher ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 36-30 W over Richland Northeast. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blue Devils needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Dreher's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Lancaster beat Dreher 42-33 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
