Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williams). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-6 victory over the Joseph City Wildcats. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-0.

Mario Pedraza produced another solid performance rushing for 188 yards and four TDs on only eight carries. He is becoming a predictor of Williams' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Anthony Soto, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Williams now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Joseph City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Williams wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 54-24 loss against Mogollon on the 10th. As for Joseph City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-16 win against Red Rock on the 13th.
