Softball Recap: Catholic Central Triumphs

While Catholic Central's win against Holland Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Maroons 14-13. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Catholic Central got a massive performance out of A Howard, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of M Milligan, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Catholic Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.

Catholic Central's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Holland Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.
