Softball Recap: Wilton Warriors vs. Darien Blue Wave
Wilton lost to Darien last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Wilton Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Darien Blue Wave.
Sadie Klyver spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 18 Ks. Those 18 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Emma Roos was incredible, going 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBI.

Stamford is coming into the game with three straight wins at home, so Darien will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
