Basketball Recap: Southwest Prep Northwest Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Southwest Prep Northwest had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 66-40 to the Lifegate Christian Falcons on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Southwest Prep Northwest will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Texas Institute at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Lifegate Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Valor Kyle at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
