After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Walton-Verona brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Gallatin County Wildcats 52-13. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Walton-Verona's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Gallatin County, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
