Softball Game Preview: Western Brown Broncos vs. Valley Indians

The Western Brown Broncos will challenge the Valley Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Valley will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Western Brown extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Goshen.

Meanwhile, Valley made easy work of Minford on Thursday and carried off an 11-3 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Western Brown's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
