The Berne Union Rockets will head out on the road to take on the Grove City Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Berne Union is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Berne Union came up short against Fairfield Christian Academy and fell 39-29.
Even though Grove City Christian has not done well against Bishop Rosecrans recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Grove City Christian took down Bishop Rosecrans 41-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grove City Christian.
Among those leading the charge was Ava Garringer, who scored 15 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kendall Damron, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Berne Union's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Grove City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Berne Union came up short against Grove City Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 30-17. Can Berne Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
