Football Game Preview: Frontenac Raiders vs. Bishop Ward Cyclones + Official Tickets

The Frontenac Raiders will host the Bishop Ward Cyclones on Friday. Frontenac will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Frontenac's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Neodesha 35-0. The Raiders pushed the score to 27-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Streaks had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, Bishop Ward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Santa Fe Trail, falling 54-13.

Bishop Ward's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Frontenac, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Frontenac strolled past Bishop Ward when the teams last played back in September of 2023 by a score of 42-26. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Cyclones' Jayvion Braden, who rushed for 216 yards and one touchdown while picking up 12.7 yards per carry. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Raiders to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
