John Paul II had won two straight games and DJ Miller did his part to make it three on Friday. The Guardians claimed a resounding 81-50 victory over the Great Hearts Western Hills Spartans for which the team can thank Miller, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists. The matchup was his 12th in a row with at least 18 points.

Marcus Taylor was another key player, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 15 points and six boards. Taylor is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Great Hearts Western Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, John Paul II will head out to challenge Bracken Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Hearts Western Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
