Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cross Plains). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Sidney Eagles 79-27. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Cross Plains is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for Sidney, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Cross Plains and Sidney will both be playing May the next time they take the court. Cross Plains will head out to face May at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Sidney will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
