Softball Recap: Ellis RVT Comes Up Short

Ellis RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-4 to the Norwich RVT Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in April.

Ellis RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Norwich RVT, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Ellis RVT didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-8 loss against Cheney Tech on the 13th. As for Norwich RVT, they will challenge Prince RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.69 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
