Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles. The Rough Riders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Roosevelt was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 25-15.

Aberdeen Central was led to victory by Taylin Kleffman and Alivia Miller. Kleffman had seven digs and three aces, while Miller had five digs and two aces.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Aberdeen Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Tea on the 6th. As for Aberdeen Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Jefferson on the 6th.
