Basketball Recap: Columbia Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Loretto on Saturday, Columbia Central came back down to earth. The Lions took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lebanon Blue Devils on Monday. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in November of 2021.

Columbia Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lebanon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Columbia Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Middle Tennessee Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lebanon, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
