The Lititz Christian Eagles can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 61-48 victory over Salem Christian. This was payback for Lititz Christian, who suffered a 51-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Lititz Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caeden Harmon, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Federico Cortes, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The victory got Lititz Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Salem Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Lititz Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Christian School of York at 7:30 p.m. Salem Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. Lincoln Leadership Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
