Baseball Recap: Avella Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carmichaels last Tuesday, Avella came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 10-7 to the East Allegheny Wild Cats on Tuesday.

Avella's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-7. As for East Allegheny, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.

Coming up, Avella will be playing at home against Aquinas Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. East Allegheny does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
