Forbush extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Karly Berrier. The Falcons walked away with a 3-1 win over Mount Airy on Thursday with plenty of help from Berrier, who had 45 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last ten times she's played.

While Forbush might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mount Airy scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22.

Forbush's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for East Surry, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.

East Surry beat Forbush 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
