Soccer Recap: Kathleen Takes a Loss

Kathleen lost against Lake Region back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kathleen Red Devils fell just short of the Lake Region Thunder by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Kathleen and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Lake Region, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-1.

Kathleen will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Angeline Academy of Innovation at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Lake Region, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-1 victory against Lakeland on the 9th.
