Volleyball Recap: San Augustine Comes Up Short + How To Watch

San Augustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hemphill Hornets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While San Augustine ultimately came up short, they really made Hemphill work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-21.

San Augustine's record now sits at 2-14. As for Hemphill, their win was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-20.

Looking ahead, San Augustine will welcome Colmesneil at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hemphill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Groveton on the 21st.
