Football Game Preview: Monroe Bearcats vs. Oak Harbor Wildcats + How To Watch

The Monroe Bearcats will venture away from home to square off against the Oak Harbor Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe has given up an average of 39.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monroe's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Meadowdale on Friday. They were beaten by the Mavericks 40-0. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Bearcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Oak Harbor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of North Kitsap.

Oak Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.

Monroe won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in November of 2024, slipping by Oak Harbor 49-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
