Tocoi Creek waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Menendez Falcons 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Toros also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-19, 25-6.

Andres Manaute paced Tocoi Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Manaute got some help from Cade Hogan and his 15 assists. Karter Kasch controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Tocoi Creek's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Menendez, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Tocoi Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Global Outreach Charter Academy on the 6th. As for Menendez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Beachside on the 9th.
