Volleyball Game Preview: Parker Pheasants vs. Hanson Beavers

The Parker Pheasants are taking a road trip to challenge the Hanson Beavers on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Parker didn't have quite enough to beat Centerville and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Hanson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Kimball/White Lake.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Hanson lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 18-25, 8-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Hanson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Parker skirted past Hanson 2-1 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Pheasants have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
