Baseball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball lost against Tracy last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Kimball fell just short of Tracy by a score of 7-6. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Aldape made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Aj Rodriguez, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Kimball now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Tracy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-6.

While Kimball had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
